IV Cookies
“Cookies” are small text files exchanged between websites and the user’s device to remember the User’s activities on the internet portal.
Cookies are divided into:
- Temporary (session) cookies – stored while the User’s session lasts, i.e., until the User closes their browser.
- Long-term (persistent) cookies – stored for a certain period or until the User manually deletes them from their browser.
Cookies generally do not contain information that can identify a specific person, but personal data that the Owner holds about the User can be linked with the information stored and collected from cookies. In cases where personal data is contained in cookies, the same rules and conditions outlined in the Privacy Policy apply. These files are stored in the User’s browser (device) and allow the internet portal or a third party to recognize the User and make the subsequent visit easier and the service more useful.
V Application of Cookies
The internet portal processes technical information of each User, regardless of the Owner’s will.
VI Consent to Data Processing via Cookies
The rules of this Policy apply to every User, as it is impossible for cookies not to be applied to certain users.
The User can consent to the use of cookies in two ways:
- Explicit consent – By clicking the “I accept the Cookie Policy” option;
- Implicit consent – If the User does not accept the previous option but continues to use the portal, as the internet portal technically cannot be programmed to not collect data, it will be assumed that the User has accepted this Policy.
The User also has the option to reject the use of cookies.
VII Types of Cookies
We categorize cookies into the following groups:
- Necessary cookies – contribute to the regular use of the internet portal by enabling basic functions such as page navigation and access to secure areas of the portal. The portal cannot function properly without these cookies, and they are essential for providing our online service. These cookies may also be used to fulfill legal obligations. Necessary cookies are session cookies and are stored until the browser is closed.
- Non-necessary cookies – these are all cookies not categorized as necessary and require the User’s consent to be used.
- Third-party cookies – in certain cases, the Owner uses third-party cookies. These cookies are provided by other parties, and the portal may use them.
Necessary cookies are as follows:
- Identification cookies – allow the Owner to identify Users who visit the internet portal and last for the duration of the session.
- User-entered cookies – allow the portal to track and remember the User’s input when filling out online order forms for the duration of the session or longer.
- Customization cookies – enable the User to save desired settings such as language and/or font during the session or longer.
Non-necessary cookies include:
- Marketing cookies – help the Owner show more relevant ads tailored to the User’s interests. They also help provide statistical analyses related to advertising research and reports for advertisers. These cookies organize ad placement so that ads are shown to the same User only a limited number of times. By visiting the internet portal, these cookies use information to adjust the advertising of our products when visiting other third-party websites.
- Analytical cookies – help improve the performance and services of the internet portal based on User activities.
Third-party cookies include:
- Performance/analytics cookies – set by Google Analytics. These cookies track how Users use the internet portal by collecting information about clicks, time spent on the portal, pages visited, frequency of visits, the browser used, and whether the User visits third-party websites. This information is passed to Google Analytics. The feedback is used exclusively to improve the portal. Statistical and analytical data are useful tools for providing a better product/service to Users and for better forecasting of business operations. Cookies set by Google Analytics identify the User as a unique visitor to the portal and can only be used by Google (for more information, visit Google Analytics Terms of Use and Google Privacy Policy). Your browser allows disabling cookies and stopping Google Analytics from recognizing your personal user account when you return to the portal. Cookies set by Google Analytics can be stored for up to 2 years.
- Marketing cookies – set by the Owner.
- User experience cookies – used to improve the user experience on the portal by determining priorities for resolving issues related to content or accessibility. The portal may add social media options and/or plugins that allow the User to connect with a selected social network. Social networks may set cookies through the portal that can then be used to improve the User’s profile on the network or otherwise contribute to data stored for the purposes outlined in their privacy policies.
Regarding the use of all types of cookies listed in the Policy section, the provisions directly related to the technological solutions implemented on the portal are applied.
VIII Controlling Cookies
Users are directed to websites like www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org if they wish to read more about cookies and their use. Most browsers allow control over cookies via settings and preferences. Cookies can be disabled, or a warning can be set when cookies process data. Each User can block unwanted internet activities. All cookies already on the User’s device can be deleted, and the browser can be set to prevent cookies from being placed. Some services or functions on the portal may not work if certain cookies are deleted or blocked.
IX Changes to the Cookie Policy
The Owner reserves the right to change the Cookie Policy at any time. If this document undergoes significant changes, the User will be notified of the changes, and upon the next visit to the portal, the User will be given the option to accept the revised document.
